A Message From Our CEO

We recently closed the books on another amazing year, and Sam and I are eager to share the financial highlights with you during our Town Hall Meeting next month.  In 2023, we topped the $100M milestone in Revenue, a full year ahead of our Growth Plan, and we continued our outstanding growth in EBITDA.  Our market penetration continued its growth as we captured business from our competitors while renewing an unbelievable volume of contracts with our existing customers.  It truly was an incredible year, and it capped off what we envisioned 5 years ago when we set in motion our plans to accelerate our growth.  As we look out at the next 5 years, there are nothing but opportunities to keep us on the growth highway… growth in our business, growth in our organization and growth as individuals.  I cannot thank you enough for what you have created.  You are an amazing collection of individuals, and I am not only very excited, but also humbled and grateful to continue on the growth highway with you in the years to come.

With deep respect and appreciation,

Sales. SOLVED.

Barry Crain, Jody Bozeman and the South-Central team recently secured a strategic win with the Harris County Health System for a Full-time CT.  Harris Health System is comprised of community health centers, 3 multi-specialty clinics, mobile health centers and two full service hospitals in the Houston, TX area, and is also a teaching system for the Baylor College of Medicine and UT Health Science Center.  Barry’s discussions with Harris County initially started in 2022 and were focused on a need at the Harris County Sheriff’s office to offer on-site CT service and to end the policy of transporting inmates to system facilities. Continued stress on resources and a requirement of multiple deputies per inmate was no longer practical.  After many months of consultation, and several visits by our transportation team to verify the placement of a coach in a very tight parking garage, Barry and the team were able to secure an agreement for a Full-time Siemens Perspective 128 CT System.  Outstanding teamwork, dedication & collaboration by John Villareal, our Transportation team, Jody Bozeman, Jose Rodriguez & the Houston based team along with Asset Management.  Thank you and well done.

Alexie Carmouche (now Williams), Juan Rocha and the West Region Team scored big with a key renewal at Kaiser Washington.  We all understand how important our relationship with Kaiser is, and with the Washington Region, our engagement started in 2019 and has grown to include six mobile imaging systems across all modalities. Typically, with Kaiser when agreements come end-of-term, their approach is to extend for 12-months.  However, due to the outstanding service that Shared Imaging continues to provide, and the strong relationship established, we were rewarded with 2-year extensions of both Full-time CT systems. With these extensions, we can continue to provide the first-class service that Shared Imaging is known for. Great job by Alexie, Juan and the entire Kaiser Washington team.

Marketing. SOLVED.

Amidst pricing pressure, a staffing crisis and equipment availability concerns, the marketing team has been working hard to ensure our sales team has everything they need to approach customers and close deals.

In 2023, a number of initiatives were developed to strengthen our brand in the industry and draw attention to exactly what sets us apart from the competition.

– Brand and Website Revamp

The Shared Imaging brand got a refresh! Staying current and providing a new user experience for our customers, the new look allows us to present ourselves in a professional, modern way.

– 360 Tours

Available on our website at www.sharedimaging.com/360tours, these interactive walk throughs of our mobile coaches are a valuable tool for use during the sales process.

– Focus on HR Marketing

In an effort to support hiring efforts, the marketing team began working with our HR department to create videos and a social strategy intended to reach radiologic technologists and transportation specialists.

– Podcasts

After a 2-year hiatus, the Between the Scans Podcast was revived! Hoping to strengthen relationships with OEMs and other business partners, it is our goal to increase awareness in the marketplace. Follow along at www.sharedimaging.com/podcast

– Updated Tools and Software

Integrating Definitive Healthcare with our Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement platform has allowed us to reach new leads and track additional metrics to measure campaign success.

Be on the lookout for an email regarding our new SI Brand Ambassador Program – let’s all work together to showcase what we do best!

She trains newly hired PET/CT techs as well as contracted agency techs to our White Glove standards, which has really helped in building an amazing team in Southern California.  She is also instrumental in ensuring workflow & protocols are consistent with the expectations set up by the client at each facility.

Malori collaborates well with team members and management. which is a big reason why we are so successful. She is the go-to contact for issues with the units and many times can help diagnose unit issues herself to get the system back up and running!

Malori exudes White Glove Service with her passion, energy, & expertise…. She is one of those team members that everyone wishes they had!

Below are some examples of how Malori created WOW!

I just wanted to send you a quick appreciation note to thank Malori for being here for us. She is always ready to step in on a moment’s notice to help with coverage, and it is so appreciated. Her efforts make a difference –Frances Mendoza, BS, CNMT (NMTCB) Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Take 5 for Safety!

So often we are in a hurry; behind schedule, distracted or in unfamiliar situations or surroundings

When you find yourself in this situation, take 5!
> Take 5 minutes to relax and refocus.

> Take 5 deep breaths to get blood and oxygen flowing to your brain.

> Take 5 seconds to look around; are there cabinet doors open? If in a confined area, how do I work without injury? Am I missing any items in my process? Am I walking on every step?

> Take 5 neck flexion/extensions to release tension.

> Take 5 laps; get up and walk 5 laps around your office, the unit, the room, wherever you are……… Take 5!
