Hopefully, you read David’s email last month announcing the renaming of our Customer Support Center to the Customer Experience Center, or CX Center, and our teammates in the CX Center have a new job title, Customer Experience Specialist. These changes were not done simply as a branding exercise, or to create trendy sounding names, they were done to reflect our culture, our White Glove culture, which when you peel back the layers is nothing more than providing our customers and their patients with the best experience possible. This is our mission, and thanks to you, we do it very well. The change to the Customer Experience Center reflects our mission, and our Customer Experience Specialists like our Technologists, Tech-Aides, Transportation Specialists, and many others in the organization are on the front-line everyday with our customers, patients, teammates, and suppliers trying to create a memorable experience. Joe McDonagh, Juan Rocha and the West Team recently delivered a combined NBOI and Renewal win with the County of Santa Clara Health System. COSCHS is the 2nd largest county owned health system in California, and is comprised of Valley Medical Center, St. Louise Regional Hospital and O’Connor Hospital along with 11 health centers throughout the county. Joe, Juan, and the team started our relationship with COSCHS in 2022 when they secured 2 Fulltime CT agreements at Valley Medical Center and St. Louise Regional. Earlier this year, the customer expressed interest in replacing the 2 Fulltime MR’s that had been provided by Alliance for many years. After working with the Client for several months to understand their needs, the team was able to structure a solution that met their Clinical, Operational and Financial criteria. This solution not only expanded our relationship by securing 2 new Fulltime MR agreements, but also delivered 12-month extensions of the CT agreements from 2022. Great creativity and execution with a focus on the Client’s key criteria of reliable service, timely response, newer technology and upgraded Mobile Coaches, and exceptional teamwork, dedication and collaboration from Samantha DeSilva, Shawn Hall, Kareem McIver, Larry Holloway, Mike Veloza and Jessica Jacob. Thank you and well done!

White Glove Moment
Ruben Ramirez
Ruben joined the Shared Imaging family over four years ago, initially at our HQ in Streamwood, IL then moving with us to our Union Grove, WI facility as a Shop Technician. He truly became our jack of all trades of different needs in the warehouse environment over the years, everything from cleaning to parts/inventory management and much more. Ruben has applied his unique, inherent skills and his recently acquired skills to address a number of the Warehouse Operations’ critical needs; including, welding, EPS generator repair, Northern Air HVAC repair, and AMST trailer maintenance.
Ruben’s innovation, creativity, and attention to detail has been instrumental in the forward progression of the Shared Imaging Union Grove warehouse.

Common workplace distractions

- Complete one task prior to moving on to the next
- Clean up the clutter-organize your work area
- Don’t answer the phone when you are in the middle of a task.
- Leave the gossip at the door
- Put your cell phone away
- Establish boundaries with coworkers
- If you are distracted during a task, do a time-out and start over
- Identify distractions and plan how to avoid them.
- Some distractions cannot be avoided; in these situations, plan what you can do to prevent patient or self injury, incident or accident.

Janice’s Wedding Anniversary
Our very own tech aide from CA, Janice Fundenberger, had a very busy and love-filled few months. In August, Janice celebrated her 5th wedding anniversary with her husband, Josh, and in October, she attended her nephew’s wedding. Congrats to both lovely couples!
On behalf of Shared Imaging, we want to wish Janice and Josh that the years ahead be filled with abundant love, understanding, and shared success. Happy 5th anniversary to you both!
Tamer’s vacation to Florida and San Francisco
MRI Technologists work hard but vacation harder! Tamer Mahfos, our MRI Tech from CA, went on a family trip to Twin Peaks, San Francisco, and Florida. He enjoyed some time off making memories with his family and enjoying the beautiful views. Looks like he even made a new friend along the way!
Glad you enjoyed your well-deserved time-off, Tamer!

2023 Flu Season is ahead!
Here are some tips & tricks to stay safe this season

- Reduce your risk by getting your Flu Vaccine!
- Visit your local pharmacy or contact Human Resources for an order to receive your vaccine at a facility near you.
- Wash your hands to prevent the spread of germs.
- CDC Recommends washing for at least 20 seconds (singing Happy Birthday twice)
- In cold weather, be sure to bundle up to stay dry & warm.
- Manage your stress by giving yourself a break when you need it.
- Clean & disinfect your frequently touched places at home or work!
- Reduce your risk by getting your Flu Vaccine!
