On October 13th our SHARED.CARES. Streamwood team participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Elk Grove Village, IL. The team of nine raised $635 for breast cancer research and the event raised a total of $61,713.
The SHARED.CARES. Northeast Walking Warriors led by Katie Hardin joined other walkers and survivors at the Making Strides walk in Point Pleasant, New Jersey on October 20th. The seven-person team raised $346 of the total $923,852 donated to the event.
Unfortunately, this year’s walk for the SHARED.CARES. Southeast team on October 19th was canceled due to the weather. The team led by Bill Cassidy still raised $935 for breast cancer research. The event is rescheduled for November 10th.
Great job to all our SHARED.CARES. walkers for being a part of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks and making a difference in our communities! The SHARED.CARES. virtual walk will continue through November 30, 2019. Shared Imaging associates are encouraged to submit selfies while doing their own personal walk in support of breast cancer awareness and survivors.
